CINEMA, 5th grade :)

 Els nens i nenes de 5è han acabat el projecte del Cinema!!!

Des de l'àrea d'English han après vocabulari relacionat amb el cinema com ara: screen, cast, clapperboard, fizzy drinks, set, script, fantasy, drama, thriller... i les funcions que es desenvolupen dins de la creació d'una pel·lícula: makeup artist, producer, editor, stunt performer, special and visual effects... També hem repassat l'estructura gramatical del present simple.

The boys and girls of 5th grade have finished the Cinema project!!!

From the English area, they have learned vocabulary related to the cinema such as: screen, cast, clapperboard, fizzy drinks, set, script, fantasy, drama, thriller... and the roles involved in the creation of a movie: makeup artist, producer, editor, stunt performer, special and visual effects... We have also reviewed the grammatical structure of the present simple.

3rd Grade. Who are they? English and Arts & Crafts

Durant aquestes darreres setmanes del curs, els nens i nenes de 3r han estat fent un projecte a Anglès i Arts & Crafts super xulo! Han fet un marc, decorat amb l’estil surrealista de Miró, on han posat una foto seva, i han fet la seva descripció personal, amb  lèxic i estructures treballades al llarg del curs. Els hi han quedat genials!

Last weeks of the course, boys and girls of 3rd grade have been doing an amazing project in English and Arts & Crafts sessions. They've made a frame, customized by surrealism style of Miró. They add a picture of theirself and  have done a personal description, using grammar structures and vocabulary that they learned during the course. The resoult is just astonishing!

4th World bee day in English class

Avui dia 20 de Maig és el dia mundial de les abelles, i a l'assignatura d'anglès els i les alumnes de 4t ahir divendres vem estar aprenent sobre aquests insectes tan essencials per al nostre planeta. Per conscienciar a tothom sobre això, vam dissenyar uns cartells amb un logo i un slogan. Mireu que macos ens han quedat!

Today, 20th of may, is The world bee day. Yesterday Friday in English class, boys and girls of 4th grade, have been learning about these so essential  insects fou our planet. to raise awareness about it,  we've designed some signs with a logo and slogan. Look how nice they are!

4t Arts & Crafts, Nana's

Els nens i nenes de 4t hem fet escultures amb fang a Arts and Craft! Per fer-ho ens hem inspirat en l'obra de Niki de Saint Phalle, una artista que realitza obres de grans dimensions sobre el cos de la dona. Que us sembla el resultat? Nosaltres hem gaudit molt fent-ho!

Boys and girls of 4th grade have done clay sculpture in Arts & Crafts! To do so, we've inspired by the work of Niki de Saint Phalle, a woman artist who makes big dimensions sculpures of woman body. What do you think, about the results?  We have been enjoying a lot doing it! 

6th year, Arts & Crafts. Romanesque and Gothic architecture and Stop motions

Com podeu veure, el grup de 6è A està treballant en maquetes romàniques i gòtiques, mentre 6è B està preparant els continguts per els seus stop motion. Aviat eureu els fantàstics resultats.

As you can see, 6th A is creating Romanesque and Gothic buildings, while 6th B is preparing fantastic backgrounds for their stop motions! Soon you will see the fantastic results. 

A 3r, Investiguem qui era Joan Miró i fem produccions surrealistes!

Els nens i nenes de 3r, durant el darrer mes d'abril, a Arts & Crafts, han estat investigant amb ordinadors i tauletes qui era el Joan Miró. Han conegut algunes de les seves obres, i inspirats amb el seu estil surrealista, en concret en la seva obra "El gall", han fet uns dracs de Sant Jordi amb rotllos de paper de vàter que no podeu deixar de veure!

Good afteroon families!

Boys and girls of 3rd year, in April, have been researching with computers and tablets about Joan Miró. They've known some of his works, and inspired by his surrealism style, specifically by the painting "El gallo", have done a Sant Jordi dragon, with toilet paper rolls . Do not miss it! 

4t. Arts & Crafts, tasca Bookface

A Arts and Crafts, els i les alumnes de 4t s'han sumat a la tendència de "bookface" , la qual consisteix a compartir una fotografía on la cara de la persona és substituïda per la portada d'un llibre. És un mètode que va començar al 2014, a la Biblioteca Pública de Nova York, quan Morgan Holzer, el bibliotecari, cercava noves fórmules per fomentar la lectura. El resultat va ser tan sorprenent que llibreries de tot el món es van sumar a aquesta iniciativa.

Per grups, els nens i les nenes de 4t han visitat la biblioteca de l'escola. Fent ús de la seva imaginació i creativitat, han seleccionat un llibre amb el qual realitzar les seves creacions. Podreu gaudir del resultat a les següents fotografies: 

In Arts & Crafts, the 4th grade students have joined the trend of "Bookface", which consists of sharing a photograph in which the person's face is replaced by the cover of the book. It is a method that began in 2014, at the New York Public LIbrary, when Morgan Holzer, the librarian, sought new ways to encourage reading. The result was so surprising that libraries all over the world joined the initiative. 

In groups, the 4th year boys and girls, visited the school library. From their imagination and creativity, they selected a book to make their creations. You can see the result in the following photos.
