3rd Grade, Arts & Crafts. El Guernica in plasticine.

During the first weeks of the year, in Arts & Crafts, boys and girls from 3rd course, after working and analyzing El Guernica, have let their imagination fly and had modelled in Plasticine the different characters and elements of the well known Picasso's work. They've worked in groups and the results are completely amazing!

Durant les primeres setmanes de l'any, a Arts & Crafts, els nens i nenes de 3r, després de treballar El Guernica, han deixat anar la seva imaginació i han fet escultures amb plastilina dels diferents personatges i elements de la coneguda obra del Picasso. Han treballat per equips i els resultats són impressionants!

3rd Grade learn "possessives" by playing

Hi everyone! 

During the last weeks of January, the pupils of 3rd have been learning how to express, in English, that something belongs to you. They did it in an hilarious and effective way, playing with words papers, like doing puzzles. The one who wrote more correct sentences won. They've enjoyed a lot!

Durant les últimes setmanes de gener, els estudiants de 3r han estat aprenent com expressar en Anglès que alguna cosa ens pertany. Ho han après d'una forma molt divertida i efectiva, jugant amb unes fitxes de paraules i fent puzles amb les paraules. Qui construïa més frases correctes guanyava.

4th, 5th and 6th grade. Theater at the school. Dracula.

Hello families!

Last Friday, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students had the pleasure of watching Dracula's play in English at the school. They had a lot of fun, singing and dancing with the actors and identifying the vocabulary that we have been working on during the previous weeks. It was fantastic!

El passat divendres, els alumnes de 4rt, 5è i 6è, van tenir el plaer de veure la obra de Dràcula en anglès a l'escola. Van gaudir molt, ballant, cantant amb els actors i identificant el vocabulari que previament havien estat treballant. Vam passar una molt bona estona!

(1st, 2nd and 3rd year) Theater in English "Robin Hood".

Dear families! 

Last Monday, the children of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year enjoyed a lot with the play Robin Hood, in English at the school. Boys and girls acquired new vocabulary in English, having fun through the interaction with the actors and the songs. Have a look at some of the best moments!

El passat dilluns, els nens i nenes de 1r, 2n i 3r, van gaudir d'allò més amb l'obra de teatre "Robin Hood" en anglès a l'escola. Van adquirir nou lèxic, interactuant amb els actors i cantant. No us perdeu alguns dels millors moments!

(5è) English Corners- year 5 - 1st Term

Throughout the term, the 5th grade students have done corners in English. They have enjoyed a lot, playing, running and trying to speak English to communicate with their classmates.

(3è). Picasso's cubism portraits. Arts & Crafts. November

Good evening families! 

Last weeks of November the kids of 3rd course have been learning about Picasso. They've been doing great activities: through a die game they've made a cubism portrait, they've been learning how to observe a painting, analysing in couples some famous cubism Picasso's portraits, writing what they were seeing and what they were feeling, later, also in couples they have paint the analysed painting. The result is totally amazing!

Les últimes setmanes de Novembre els alumnes de 3r, han estat treballant la obra de Picasso. Han fet diferents activitats: mitjançant un joc amb un dau han fet un retrat cubista, han estat aprenent com observar una pintura, analitzant en parelles alguns retrats cubistes de Picasso, escrivint el que veien i el que sentien. Després amb la mateixa parella han fet la seva versió. Han quedat espectaculars!

Hello families!

During late October and early November, the 5th course pupils have been drawing their idea of Montserrat, after discovering the activities that are done there such as climbing, hiking, praying, etc. as well as the characteristic shapes of the mountain. They've done it with the worked patterns and with felt-tip pens. Have a look what a great work they've done!

Durant finals d'octubre i principis de Novembre els nens de 5è han fet un dibuix de com veuen Montserrat, després de conèixer les diferents activitats que es poden fer a l'indret; escalar, muntanyisme, resar, etc. així com les seves formes característiques. Ho han fet amb les textures treballades en retoludadors.
